Lindsey is from Columbus, Ohio and graduated from Ohio State in '09 with a B.A. in animal science. She began working in the veterinary field during 2006. Her specific interests are in practice management/business. When away from the clinic you can find her gardening, fly fishing, hiking, canoeing, bike riding, taking photos, or playing the dobro. Lindsey also has several pets: Gibby, a toy poodle, Spanky, a french bulldog, a bunch of chickens, betta fish, pond fish, and two horses.
Joe is from a, “nearby supernova billions of years ago..” graduating from OU in ‘87, OSU ‘89 and ‘96, and KSU 2010. He has an A.S. in biology, B.A. in linguistics, an M.A. in anthropology, and an MLIS Library Information Science. He’s been in the veterinary field for 27+ years, and is passionate about veterinary informatics. Outside of work he enjoys cycling, cinema, and reading. According to him, his “animals” are a few common house spiders.
Jon is a registered veterinary technician (RVT) and also holds an associate of science degree. He has been a part of the field since 2003. His special interests are specifically working in surgery and anesthesia, but outside of the clinic you can find him reading. Although he has no dogs, he does have several cats.
Jessica M. was born in Lakewood, Ohio but moved to Grove City during sixth grade. She’s a graduate from Central Crossing High school and earned her associates as an RVT at Columbus State. Aside from being in the veterinary field for eight years she also enjoys camping, traveling, and being outdoors.
Brooke is from Elkview, West Virginia but attended Bradford Vet Tech Institute where she earned her associates degree in applied science/RVT. She’s been working in this field for 10 years and owns three animals: Zero, Kora, and Boone. Outside of her work she has interests in nutrition, behavior, and cytology as well as hiking, watercolor painting, and kayaking. She was also a member of a hunt seat/jump equestrian team during her college career.
Sarah has always lived in Delaware, Ohio and graduated from Columbus State with an associates degree of applied science in veterinary technology (RVT). She’s been in the field for only one year, but has an immense love for the work she can do to help all types of animals. In her spare time she enjoys reading, playing online games, and recently began gardening. She also owns three cats, along with 28 heads of cattle that are in Virginia with relatives (but she visits often).
Stephanie is from Ashville, Ohio and graduated from Bradford high school in 2013. With an associates degree in veterinary technology (RVT), she’s been in the field for five years and has a special interest in laboratory procedures and inventory. Her hobbies include hiking, riding ATV’s, and spending time with her two pets Trouble and Kevin.
Ann resides in Lancaster, Ohio but was born in South Carolina. She’s a graduate from Teays Valley 2012 and holds an associates degree in science with plans to become a registered veterinary technician (RVT) here shortly. Her interests include small animal medicine and hopes that in the future she can branch into exotic and marine life practices. She owns one cat named Ricardio, but plans to own multiple dachshunds one day.
Malia was born and raised in Grove City, Ohio and graduated from Grove City High School in 2014. She has been at Georgesville Road Animal Hospital for three years, and hopes to begin tech school soon. Outside of the practice she is interested in nutrition, physical fitness, and body conditioning. In her spare time you can find her dog training and competing, riding horses, or rescuing/fostering animals. Currently, she owns a dog (Havoc), three cats (Louie, Jack, Maple), and one quarter horse (Chloe).
Becky is from Wilmington, Ohio and holds a bachelors degree in biology with a minor in public health. This year she is also planning to graduate with a masters degree in veterinary public health this year. She’s been in the field for three years with specific interests in client education and veterinary pathology (cytology, histopathology). Outside of the clinic she enjoys fishing, hiking, drawing and painting. She owns one cat named Scarlet who, interestingly enough, knows how to sit and shake.
Jessica K. is from Brockville Ohio, which is a small town outside of Dayton, Ohio. She graduated from the Miami Valley Career Technology Center in 2016, and is currently a second year pre-vet student at The Ohio State University. She is working towards a bachelor’s degree in agriculture, but focusing on animal biosciences. Her special interests in the field of veterinary work are food, medicine, and reproductive health. Outside of work she runs, paints, and reads. Jessica also owns three pets, a cat named Smudge and two dogs: Andie and Jett.
Tyler is from Centerville, Ohio and graduated from the high school in 2016. He will be entering into his fourth year at The Ohio State University and expects to graduate in 2020. His mom owns a family practice, which is where he was first exposed to a veterinarian career. He’s very passionate about small animal medicine and has officially worked in the field since 2012. When the work day is over Tyler goes home to his two pets Chase, a pomeranian, and Wilbur, a pitbull.
Alex grew up in North Carolina but moved to Ohio in 2015. She went to Garner Magnet High school ‘09 and now attends Columbus State. She's also a current member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. Her start in the veterinary field began in 2018, and she has an interest in small animal surgery and research work. Some of the hobbies she has outside of practicing are running, biking, and long-boarding. She also owns one dog, Kimchi, who is 12 years old and a mixed breed.
Shannon is from New Jersey but attends The Ohio State University. She’s a junior at the school, and plans to graduate in the spring of 2021. New to a clinical setting, she’s hoping to specialize in equine surgery as a DVM one day. When she’s not in the clinic she enjoys crossfit training and competing on the club swim team at OSU. She also has two cats: a girl named Dora, and a male named Boots.
Mary is from Columbus, Ohio and graduated from Bishop Ready High School in 2018. She now attends Xavier University in Cincinnati to study health services/administration. Her interests in this field are medicine and puppies, but outside of it includes yoga, healthy eating, and cooking. She has one dog named Holly who is a 12 year old golden retriever.
Jack is from Cleveland, Ohio but attends The Ohio State University. He holds a B.S. in neuroscience ‘18, and will be in the class of 2022 for CVM. He began his work in the field four years ago and has an interest in small animal general practice, but possibly neurology too. In his spare time he likes to cook, work on his garden, travel, and read. He also owns a betta fish named Bubbles. Jack hasn’t missed a home Ohio State football game in his five years at tOSU (go Bucks).
Paige is from Texas, but attends The Ohio State University as a pre-vet/microbiology student. She has been in this field for three years and loves all aspects of it, especially exotics and wildlife. Some of her hobbies she enjoys during spare time are working out, going outdoors, and cooking. She also has three pets: Phoebe, a golden retriever, Starr, a leopard gecko, and Soi, a corn snake.
Lana is from Grove City, Ohio and graduated from Bishop Ready High School '18. She now attends Otterbein University as a communications major with plans to graduate in 2022. This will be her first year in the field, but veterinarian practices have always been apart of her life. Some of her hobbies include journaling, working out, and reading poetry. She has two pets, a labrador named May May, and a cat named Meiko.
Adriana is from Brazil, but just recently moved into Columbus from California. She attended the Universidade Federal da Bahia ‘12 and earned her board certified veterinarian degree from Brazil (CRMV-BA). Since 2006 she has been in the field, and loves working with companion animals while also an interest in cat behavior. Her hobbies include spending time with family, working outside, and exploring the area. She also has one pet, a dog named Lila who is 10 weeks old.
Shannon is from a small town in Enon, Ohio but currently resides in Springfield. She is currently enrolled at the Bradford Vet Tech Institute, set to graduate in December of this year with an associates in applied science. Her journey in this field began July 2018. She is most interested in exotics, anesthesia, emergency medicine, and laboratory studies. After work she likes to hike, spend time with her boyfriend, and enjoy the companionship of her fur babies. Josie, an eight year old shepherd mix, Tye, a feisty DSH, Fluffbutt, a DMH, Tina, a ball python, and Sherran, a bearded dragon.
