Welcome to the Georgesville Road Animal Hospital's Blog!
The Veterinarians and Staff at GRAH understand that you have questions outside of business hours. In a world where you can Google absolutely everything, wouldn’t it be nice to have access to a source, just as reliable as your veterinarian, to answer your questions online, at your leisure? Now, you can!
If you’ve arrived here, at the blog, you’ve probably noticed that we’ve updated our webpage. There are plenty of new tabs to browse through, but let’s outline some of our newest features.
What is it? VIN - Veterinary Information Network - is the world's first and largest online veterinary community, where new articles are added weekly to VeterinaryPartner.com by the experts at VIN to make sure that our readers have the most current veterinary information available. Just type your topic in the search bar. You’ll be provided with a wealth of articles, written by veterinarians. VIN can be found under the New Patient Center tab on our homepage.
Petly is a combination Health Record/ Scrap Book/ Facebook Page for your pet! Provided we have your email on file at the clinic, you can obtain our records on your pet’s vaccinations and annual blood work, request appointments, receive reminders, view and request prescriptions, add photographs, link to facebook groups, get personalized articles and much, much more!
If Petly isn’t for you, you can still request prescription refills online, for in-hospital pick up, or home delivery! This includes Rx Diets, as well.
Educational YouTube Videos (coming soon!)
We’ve had a lot of interest in home care topics, ranging anywhere from nail trims to proper insulin administration. We hope to offer a selection of “how-to” videos, later this year.
Facebook/ Twitter/ Pinterest (coming soon!)
If you've found us online, you've probably spotted our Facebook Page. For those who prefer Twitter, we're in the tweet-o-sphere, too. And, for all things Pinteresting, our board construction is underway. We hope to use these mediums to update, educate and of course, entertain! (Who doesn't love a good Grumpy Cat meme?)
Our mission is to be more accessible to our clients. We hope to connect with and provide support to our clients outside of the hospital; between physical exams. We’re here to keep your pets healthy and to give you peace of mind. As your pet’s primary care provider, we value your input. Please feel free to contact us via email, Facebook or Twitter and tell us what you’d like to see and how we’re doing.
